Regulation (EU) 2023/988 on general product safety
If your product has no sector-specific rules (furniture, houseware, a small appliance), the General Product Safety Regulation still requires identifying it, stating its intended use and declaring safety warnings. This template is the fallback for those cases.

What happens if you don't have it
Regulation (EU) 2023/988 (GPSR), in force since December 2024, requires every EU country to have a sanction regime for consumer products lacking the required safety information — with market withdrawal as the first step while the case is resolved.
